At Dassie, every tie is handmade with care and precision. Because our products are made to order, we ask for a little patience while we prepare something truly special for you.
Processing Time

Please allow 3–5 working days for us to handcraft and package your order.

During peak seasons (like wedding periods or the festive season), processing may take slightly longer — we’ll communicate any delays upfront.

For custom orders, manufacturing will take up to 1-2 weeks, depending on the size. Bigger orders (60 and up) can take 3- 5 weeks.
Shipping Within South Africa

We deliver nationwide using trusted local couriers.

Once shipped, your order should arrive within 2–5 working days, depending on your location.

You’ll receive a tracking number via email once your parcel is on its way.
Shipping Fees

Flat rate delivery: R99 anywhere in South Africa

Free delivery: on all orders over R1000

Please double-check your delivery details before placing your order. Dassie is not responsible for parcels lost or delayed due to incorrect addresses.

Once a parcel has been handed over to the courier, delays caused by the delivery service are out of our hands — but we’ll assist where possible to follow up.
International Shipping
At this stage, Dassie only ships within South Africa. We hope to offer international shipping in the future!

Handmade Ties with a Personal Touch
Return & Exchange Policy
At Dassie, each tie is carefully handmade with attention to detail and a personal touch. Because of this, no two ties are exactly the same — small variations in stitching, fabric, or finish are part of what makes every Dassie tie special.
We stand by the quality of our work, and if something goes wrong with your order, we’re here to make it right.
You may return your item under the following conditions:

Damaged in Transit: If your tie arrives damaged during shipping, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

Loose Threads or Workmanship Issues: If any threads come loose or there’s a clear fault in the construction of the tie, we will gladly replace or refund the item.

Wrong Item Shipped: If you received a tie that’s different from what you ordered, we’ll send the correct item at no additional cost.
Return Process:

Email us at info.dassie@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving your order.

Include your order number, clear photos of the item and the issue, and a short description.

Once approved, we’ll guide you through the return or replacement process.

Items must be unused and in their original condition (unless damaged).

Returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery.

Due to the handmade nature of our ties, small differences in appearance are normal and not considered defects.

We do not accept returns due to change of mind or incorrect sizing — please double-check before placing your order.
